1. Check if your operating system is up to date using the terminal.
2. Install [Chromium][1] browser and check how your web pages are displayed on it. Compare the same with Firefox and verify if they look similar.
3. Check the version of Geany on the terminal. Make sure that it is up to date.
4. Customize your Unity bar by pinning frequently-used applications to it.
5. Check the web developer console on Firefox. View page source and identify elements and attributes known to you.
